Patchboard Track
As part of the program *Critical Décor* run out of Emily Carr University and The Shumka Centre in collaboration with AZ Home, an emerging team of designers worked to transition AZ Home from a trading company to being design led by designing their first product. The interdisciplinary team designed *The Patchboard*, a storage solution for small spaces. The product consists of 2 tracks made of extruded aluminum and a set of boards of different sizes made of Baltic birch plywood along with pegs to allow the user to uniquely curate their wall space. Highlighted below is the track I designed and modelled using Solidworks. The track is easily installed using screws aligned with the holes along the track. The boards can be stacked on both sides to utilize the vertical space of the wall and require no additional mechanical installation.
